Year:1974 | Project: C&A Pictograms
C&A, a prominent Dutch fashion retailer with both domestic and international presence, encountered challenges in effectively guiding customers through its extensive range of clothing products. In response, I was tasked with devising a solution to address this issue.
In collaboration with my team and the client, we developed a comprehensive set of pictograms that highlighted key information relevant to the shopping experience. Subsequently, I created a user-friendly instruction manual enabling branch managers to independently create floor maps for their respective stores. These maps outlined the placement and quantity of pictograms required. This streamlined process allowed for the efficient installation of essential information, bypassing the need for architectural intervention.
