Year:1976 | Project: Kluwer Book covers
Kluwer, a prominent Dutch publishing company, approached me with the task of crafting the design for a series of publications that distinctly deviated from the existing similar releases. In response, I embarked on a creative journey where I conceived a diverse array of objects, each unique to its respective edition. These designs were meticulously carved out of plywood and adorned with primary colors: red, green, and blue.
To ensure visual consistency, all the objects were meticulously captured against a uniform backdrop. Leveraging their individual visual impact, I seamlessly integrated them with minimalist typography. The outcome was nothing short of remarkable: a surge in sales accompanied this innovative design approach.
